Andre lives in Porto on a daily basis, he works as graphic and illustrator. In his latest series of posters we will find objects of worship from around the world: from the church Notre Dame du Haut Chapel in Ronchamp designed by Le Corbusier himself, through the synagogue of the Zvi Hecker Military Academy in Israel in the Negev desert, to the Italian parish church in Riola di Vergatu by Alvar Aalto. Each of the buildings attracts attention with its unique architecture and unique shape. The artist presents buildings in a very monumental way, making them seem extremely powerful. By contrasting architecture with the sky, the artist draws attention to the relationship of architecture (people's work) with nature, which is God's work. Clouds on most posters add dramatic character to works. Most of the presented objects are works from the 20th and 21st centuries, when sacred architecture became very modern. At first glance, looking at some posters, it's hard to find out that they depict places of worship: this is the case with the very simple body of the Santa Maria church in Marco de Canaves in Portugal or the Santa Monica church in Madrid.
