Under the Majorca sun
Today we invite you to the dream villa! Camp Roig 31 is a 600-meter property located in Alaró, on the slopes of the Tramuntana Mountains in Spain. A swimming pool, a yoga room, five bedrooms, a sun-filled 400-meter terrace, and excellent design and architecture at its best - this is a must-see place!
Durietz Design studio is responsible for the project. The house was originally built in 1910, it was once used as a storehouse for crops and meat. The architects decided to restore historic elements such as two stone fireplaces or wooden sculptures.
The main inspiration for the designers was the heritage of Majorca and a very subtle art deco edition. The heart of the house is certainly the common space, which includes a kitchen, a dining room for 10-12 people and a comfortable living room.
In the kitchen and bathrooms, it has been decided to use grooved walnut fronts. As much as 1.3 km of such slats were used throughout the house! They were combined with travertine and minimalist Vola fittings.
In the kitchen, it is worth paying attention to the comfortable breakfast corner and the original stone fireplace. There is also a wine cellar at the disposal of residents.
There are three lounges in the residence, each on one floor. The one located in the attic is a place conceived as a sphere of escape from the hot Majorca sun.
Each of the five bedrooms is different and tells its own story. The headboards and bedspreads are made of natural Yutes linen fabrics.
If necessary, the work room and yoga room can also be converted into additional bedrooms. Of course, there is also a swimming pool, a sunny terrace and an outdoor kitchen available to residents. The perfect place to rest!
